For the third time in the last month, the reserve teams of Prometey and Cherkaski Mavpy met in the official match of the High League championship. "Prometey-2-DDTU" celebrated the third success in a row, but this victory was the most difficult.
"Prometey-2-DDTU" had a great debut match, winning the first three minutes with a score of 12:5. Pavlo Horobchenko scored the first 5 points of the asset of his team and his own one, and then other players of the starting five Ihor Klimov and Mykhailo Bublik made excellent individual passes. The guests responded to this starting activity of the "red and whites" with their jerk (8:0), which was made during the second five minutes of the quarter. The real leader of "Cherkaski Mavpy-2" was a point guard Oleg Bondarenko, who arrived at the location of the second team of the club from the main one. The second quarter remained entirely under the command of Georgy Stupenchuk. Already in the 17th minute their handicap reached double digits figure. At that moment, Daniil Pirohov scored from afar, but Dmitry Markov's wards did not manage in this quarter and they went for a long break losing 11 points to the opponent.
The turning point in the game occurred after a fifteen-minute rest. Our team had a great quarter! Pirohov scored 9 points in this period, Vladislav Orzul scored two points less, and Pavlo Horobchenko scored two shots from the perimeter just when it was needed (only 4 accurate shots from the 6-point arc in the match).
Having regained the lead, our team no longer lost it. At the same time, the tension in the match lasted until its final part. Exactly two minutes before it, an accurate shot from a distance by the captain of "Cherkaski Mavpy-2" Yuri Romanovsky reduced the gap of his team to four points (79:83). The key moments of the match were a difficult two-point shot a minute later by Vladislav Orzul, who had an excellent match, and a hit from the "paint" of the opponent by Bohdan Bryniuk.
"Prometey-2-DDTU" won with a score of 89:83, and today at 15.00 will play with "Cherkaski Mavpy-2" a rematch of the tour.
