The press service of BC "Prometey" continues monitoring the signings of our future rivals in the 7DAYS EuroCup. This week there was some news only from the Romanian "Cluj".

"Cluj" signed an agreement with Leonardo Meindl (2.01 meters, 29 years old), who transferred from "Fuenlabrada". He will make his debut in the 7DAYS EuroCup. Mindl spent first nine years of his professional career in his native Brazil. He signed a contract with Fuenlabrada in 2020 and went on to play in 64 games over the next two seasons. From his first to his second year with Fuenlabrada, Meindl was able to increase his scoring average from 11.0 points per game to 13.1. His number of assists also increased: from 1.5 to 2.1. In addition, Meindl is a member of the Brazilian National team.

Later, the Romanian club announced that Karel Guzman will remain with the team for the next season. Guzman (1.95 meters, 27 years old) averaged 9.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 33 Romanian league games for Cluj last season. Additionally, he averaged 8.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 17 Champions League games. Guzman begins his third season with Cluj.

Guzmán is a Cuban-born and Cuban National team player, he began his professional career in the 2017-18 season when he played for Argentinian “Ciclista Juninense”.

So, the composition is almost complete, and little by little the teams are starting to prepare for the season.
