Tomorrow, on April 10, the first match of the semi-final playoff stage of the Latvian-Estonian League with the participation of our "Prometey" will be played. The reigning league champion will play against last year's finalist, Latvia's best team of many years – “VEF Riga”.

In the quarterfinal series, both teams defeated their opponents with the same score of 2:0: "Prometey" - BC "Ogre" (97:82 and 90:82), and "VEF Riga" - "Rigas Zelli" (87:72 and 94:87).

For "Prometey" and "VEF Riga", tomorrow's match will be the third one for them in this season series. The two previous matches happened to be competitive and resulted in victories for each of the rivals. At first, "Prometey" celebrated its success (70:66), and a month ago, "VEF Riga" turned out to be stronger (83:76). The winner of tomorrow match, and let's hope it will be “Prometey”, will have a strategic advantage in the semi-final series.
