With the first match in Mykolayiv "Prometey-2-DDTU" opened the second championship in the High League in the own history. The debut in the championship a year ago turned out to be unsuccessful: then our team lost to Kryvbas in all respects. But today the result was quite the opposite, although the rivals of "red and whites" was not an experienced team. Dmitry Markov's wards showed bright, sometimes adultly mature basketball and the result of their confident actions on a platform of the Mykolayiv sports complex "Nadiya" became a convincing victory.

Already in the 3rd minute the head coach of Mykolayiv Denis Rozdobudko took a time-out, reason for that became a jerk of youngsters from  Slobozhanske 11: 4. Moreover, Pavlo Horobchenko scored 8 points in this short period of time. Prometey scored the same number of points without an effective response from rivals immediately after this minute break, and its handicap was one and a half dozen points. The team from the banks of the Southern Bug gave its answer in the form of two hits from the perimeter, which helped reduce the gap to 6 points (14:20), but at the end of the starting quarter Pavlo Gorobchenko took his word again: his 4 points allowed "Prometey-2 DDTU " to go to the first break with a handicap of" +8 ".

The 30 minutes that remained to be played, with the exception of a few segments in the last ten minutes, were marked by the total dominance of "Prometey-2-DDTU". In the second quarter, our team allowed opponents to score only 8 points, while they scored 27. But this indicator of their own performance was not the limit: in the third quarter, 36 (!) points were scored. The advantage of the guests was rising with each passing minute. 8 seconds before the long break after Bohdan Bryniuk won the power struggle under the op[onents’ backboard, it was almost "+30", and 25 seconds before the end of the third quarter as a result of a rapid individual pass of Daniil Gorkovenko - already "+50" (88:38).

The final figures were eloquent: our team missed 55 points (the same amount was in its assets only after 20 minutes of the match), and just as many points was the difference in the score in its favor.
