On Friday, July 8, the draw of the group stage of the EuroCup, where our BC Prometey will play, will be held.

 

 

As the official letter of the organizers of the EuroCup revealed, all 20 teams will be divided into baskets according to the ranking, which considers the performances of clubs in the last three seasons in the tournament. As Prometey did not play in the European Cup, the team got to the 10th basket. This means that our club definitely will not play against the London Lions, which are also in the 10th basket. Other teams are potential rivals of Prometey.

 

 

Representatives of one country cannot get into the same basket. As for the format of the European Cup, it will be as follows: 2 groups of 10 teams, 2 tours of the regular season, first 8 teams from each group form playoff pairs. The playoffs will be held in the format of one relegation match.
