The new season starts this week in the Ukrainian championship among the teams of the Men's High League. In total 14 teams take part in the competition, which will be divided into two groups.

"Prometey-2-DDTU" will spend its second season in the High League in the 1st group. His rivals will be "Dnipro-2-DVUFK-SDUSSOR №5" (Dnipro), "National team of Cherkasy Region-Cherkasy Mavpy-2" (Cherkasy), "Mariupol", "MBK-2-NIKO-SDUSSOR 4" (Nikolaev), "Polytechnic" (Kharkiv) and SSU (Sumy).

The championship for our team will begin with away matches in Nikolaev with "MBK-2-NIKO-SDUSSOR 4". On October 2nd, the rivals play at 16:00, on October 3rd - at 14:00.

In the first stage, all participants of the championship will play according to the traditional scheme - four rounds of traveling paired rounds.

In the second stage, the traveling paired rounds are played between the teams of the two groups that finished in the first four in the first stage. The teams that finished from 5th to 7th place will also play with each other.

In the third stage, the teams from the top eight will play a playoff to two victories, starting with the quarterfinals. Semi-final matches and prize places are played according to the playoff system with up to three victories.
