BC "Prometey" held a basketball master class especially for the children of Slobozhanske village community. About thirty schoolchildren took part in it. Players of the High League BC Promeey-2-DDTU team shared their sports skills with them. The real professional training for students was arranged by the coaching staff of the team headed by Dmytro Markov. The main mentor of "Prometey2" is convinced that such master classes should be held as often as possible:

"We need to involve young people and popularise basketball. That is, we need to tell more about it. It is best when they see and feel, get to know our guys. Maybe our basketball players will make someone interest by their example. It is not necessary to become an athlete. There are many professions in sports. The purpose of such actions is to involve as many children as possible into sports. That is why I believe that such actions should be held as more as possible. To those students who came I said that it was impossible to tell everything in one lesson, but we hope to set up more such meetings".

Pupils together with basketball players performed exercises with balls, did a number of preparatory exercises and, of course, played a full game with mixed teams. Among the participants of the master class there were not only boys but also girls. Ilona says she really likes basketball, so she was very happy to play with professional basketball players:

"It's an incredible opportunity to try yourself as a real basketball player on a professional court. When I heard about it, I immediately became interested in this sport. Moreover, trying to do it only intensified my wishing. So, I think it's an interesting opportunity. I like the game. It's not an aggressive one, comparing to other sports, but it gives a lot of excitement. "

At the end of the meeting, a traditional photo, selfies with players and special gifts to all participants of the master class from BC "Prometey" (club paraphernalia). In addition, of course the students were invited to visit Prometey games. The children, in turn, promised our basketball players their strong support.
