Those fans who remained in the sports complex after the confrontation between the leader of the Superleague "Prometey" and BC "Odessa", had the opportunity to get another dose of pleasure, this time from the game of our reservists. The debut match of the season at home, was won by the team of Dmitry Markov with great confidence.
Largerly, equality of power could be seen only in the first five minutes of the game. In this period of the game, our team failed to cope with several quick attacks of the guests, most of which were completed by Maxim Zaitsev. However then, for two minutes "Prometey-2-DDTU" managed a breakthrough 8:2, which started by Ihor Klimov with 5 points in a row, and ended with an accurate shot from the perimeter by Maxym Bezyma. A similar throw was made at the end of the quarter by Daniil Pirohov, who set the handicap of the hosts on the "+8" mark. When the second quarter started, Dmytro Markov's team increased its advantage by another 6 points (28:14), which Maxym Bezyma brought to his team (end-one and accurate long-distance throw).
From that moment until the final siren, "Prometey-2-DDTU" established full control over the game. Our team significantly surpassed the opponent in the number of rebounds (56 vs. 33), as a team game (22 assists against 10) and three-point shots (the hosts scored every third shot - 11 out of 33, and Denis Rozdobudko's team - only 1 of 17. As for the individual indicators of the players of "Prometery-2-DDTU", in this regard, several wards of Dmitry Markov were noted: in the assets of Daniil Pirohov - double-double (22 points and 11 rebounds); Bohdan Bryniuk lacked only one rebound with 12 points and 7 assists for the same achievement; Mykhailo Bublik and Ihor Klimov also scored more than 10 points - 14 and 13, respectively, and Pavlo Horobchenko gave 6 assists with 9 points.
