The second round of the first stage of the championship of the High League "Prometey-2-DDTU" began with two home victories over "MBC-2-NIKO" from Mykolayiv. This weekend, Dmytro Markov's team will play two more home matches, where their opponents will be the resevists of Cherkaski Mavpy. "Home matches impose a double responsibility on our team." - says the head coach of "Prometey-2-DDTU" Dmytro Markov. "I really want to show the maximum result in both matches. That's what we set the guys up for."
A month ago, the teams met in Cherkasy and then Prometey-2-DDTU won two games - 78:65 and 85:75. "Both matches were difficult for us." - Dmytro Markov recalls. "The opponent managed to gather the maximum number of players from the first team. However, we managed to win both matches. As for which of the Cherkasy players we have to face in the next matches, we will know only right before the matches."
In the first November match, Dmytro Markov's colleague Georgy Stupenchuk could rely on the players of the first team of "Moavpy" Serhiy Skira, Oleg Bondarenko and Ihor Sergeyev, and in the second - on the last two performers.
