This coming weekend, the Prometey-2-DDTU team will play a paired match of the second stage of the High League championship against the club of the same name in Khmelnytsky. Dmytro Markov's wards have recently been on a busy schedule: the upcoming matches will be the third and fourth this week for them. The Red and Whites played their second match against Khimik-2 on Monday, and on Wednesday they played in Kharkiv for the club's main team in the Windrose Superleague.

It is a high-quality Kharkiv match that should provide great help for our team in the face of the upcoming confrontations strong rival in Khmelnytsky. Its leaders are players with significant experience of matches in the elite of domestic basketball: Anton Davydyuk, Anton Buts, Mykhailo Horobchenko (older brother of the guard of our team Pavlo Horobchenko). All of them proved themselves last weekend in the home games of their team against "Mariupol". These matches ended with confident victories of the Khmelnytsky team (105:64 and 102:64). Davydyuk scored 26 points in each of them, Mykhailo Horobchenko gave his partners 7 assists, and Anton Butz made a double-double with 18 (!) rebounds in the second match.

After these successful games, Khmelnytsky had 8 victories in 14 matches. The team currently occupies the 4th place in the standings and in case of complete success in the round has the opportunity to overtake "Prometey-2-DDTU" in terms of additional indicators. As for our team, they are also very motivated: in the second stage in each match it will be opposed by powerful and qualified opponents. The excellent quality of basketball in such games will definitely contribute to the game growth of our youth.
