The Final Four of the All-Ukrainian youth basketball league among boys born in 2011 opened with a match of Academy “Prometey” team and the hosts – CCYSS-1. This Unbelievably exciting confrontation ended with a sad minimal loss of young “Prometey” players.

In the debut of the match, our team missed the opponent’s jerk (8:2), which did not upset them at all. For the first time, “Prometey” took the lead in the 7th minute, after which they won the first quarter. In this game segment, Artem Tomak demonstrated excellent leadership qualities – 10 points + 7 rebounds. However, the second ten-minute segment was fully for the team from Cherkasy. They went for a long break with an advantage of 17 points.

Instead, the entire second half of the game was marked by the clear dominance of "Prometey". Our team steadily reduced their lag, but, unfortunately, it was not enough for a decisive effort. It is worth noting that the captain of "Prometey" Artem Tomak recorded a double-double in his assets (32 points and 17 rebounds) with an efficiency rating of 38 points.

Tomorrow, on May 4 at 9:30, “Prometey” will play the match for the third place against SCC “Ploskyriv” (Khmelnytskyi). Two weeks ago, the teams met in the Kmelnitskyi tour and then young “Prometey” players were stronger.
